Im gettting this in a tattoo, so obviously i want it to be correct. It doesnt have to be exactly "believe in yourself" it can be something like "trust yourself" or whatever. If possible, please tell what the actually translation is and how qualified you are to be telling me. Im tired of getting eople that look at these types of questions and then go to a english-latin translator and give me something that i know isnt corr3ect. Thanks for the help!|||Tibimet fide = Trust/believe in yourself.
Fide = singular imperative of verb fido, fidere. Means trust (in), believe (in). The 'in' is not needed as a separate word - it's inherent in the verb.
Tibimet = tibi + met
Tibi = yourself
-met = a form 'tacked on' to a pronoun to make it emphatic.|||Believe in yourself - Puto in vestri
Trust yourself - Fides Vestri
